Amandas asleep, and im awake so i figured id write a little bit. im so behind on my written journal im not even sure where i would start in it, so i gave up. we went on a little hike today that once again started with a huge walk uphill and ended with a huge walk down hill. my legs are shot from these three days in semi-isolated switzerland. the first night we were here i went on about a 40 minute run to Murren, which starts with the uphill i was talking about. i think its at least an 800 foot elevation change between gimmelwald and murren, so that was fun. and then the next day i went on a hike with the couple we met the night before, Ian and Amanda. Amanda actually went to nau for a couple years and we had one of the same profesors we both hated on (dr. funk, psychology teacher) and Ian is a PRM major. anyway, i hiked with them, and ran back. My Amanda was tired, so let her sleep and i shouldve woken her up, but she can be scary in the mornings. once i got back we went and hiked to murren, again. and today we did another hike that took us by murren, but this one had a waterfall we walked under, and we ran into a guy doing trail work and talked with him for a bit... he could speak 7 languages. makes my one and half seem like next to nothing.
kinda sad were leaving tomorrow, i havent enjoyed the view from my window as much as the one here, and i dont really think much can compare. theres 30minutes left until quiet time, so im going to go play the piano for a bit... just kidding. some kid just jumped on and started playing mary had a little lamb.
ok, pictures and such will hopefully come soon, goodnight everyone.
